History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. Pearl was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Soapmaker. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Thakrak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is cut close to his head. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. A true patriot, Krimmon would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Soapmaker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Silent was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.
