It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Griselda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Fletcher, but she got bored and became a Bather. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Antrara hails from a village terrorized by drow. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Antrara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After a long history of fighting, Reirak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
