Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a yellow vest and prefers black and white shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Frederick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Humans. Her skin is light but she possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. Her black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. The war was a terrible time for her, and Beatrice does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: This woman wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her copper crest is unkempt and raggedy. Her red eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Beggar for the past few years.

Description: An older man who wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, he is not a threatening figure. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. He is baby faced.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Thomas was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
