History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. In her youth she was a Slave Trader, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Merla fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A true patriot, Fallond would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Elama alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against orcs.

Description: This man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his left hand. He has a very tight haircut. His fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
