History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mâku grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mâku. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Norman grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
