Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he very much looks the part of a Bookbinder. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gell fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
