Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears long strands of jet and short brown dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Servant who has hired him part-time. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Gardain took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Emeny speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. She tends to her Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
