History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Paelias and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barrister. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He takes great joy in being the best Barrister in town.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has achieved small success as a Barrister.

History: Born to a Mortician, her father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Giselle was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Giselle's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and retire the richest woman in the west

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: Born to a Barkeep, her father struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Drifting hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Drifting began to lead the lost caravan. He now owns his own business.
