Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Orla lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: Wrenn hails from a village terrorized by giants. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. In her youth she was a Architect, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
