History: Born to a Miner, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Chassath and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
