History: Born in the south to a Dyer, Leaf learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for her, and Helen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Helen's homeland. Helen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
