History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adrik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Shaena was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shaena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Personality: Flame is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Flame is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Gifted from a young age, Flame studied abroad. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Flame has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
