Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gruk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: 2'9" and muscular, this eastern woman is renowned for her bright white dresses and hats. Her hair is long and golden with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small white clips. She has green eyes and a white hat with a red feather.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A 5'7" eastern woman, she wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. She wears her yellow fur down. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady amber eyes.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her first spouse was a Laborer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and retire the richest woman in the east

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a glaive on his belt. He carries a battered greatsword and tarnished glaive as well. He keeps his long rusty crest kept up in a rat tail. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sethrekar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shipwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'9" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing pastel cape and mantle trimmed with soft green waves gently in the breeze. His brown fur is knotted and matted. His copper eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born in the east. Spring abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is greedy
