History: Ilanis lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has achieved small success as a Servant.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Servant responsibilities is difficult.

History: Lilith was born with her mother's beautiful face. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
