History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dustin was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Adventurer mother left him crippled. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Joan is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.
