Personality: Helja wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy.
