History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Bork alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it
