Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nutae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Nim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Detective like his father before him.

History: He got into the Fletcher business at a young age. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Tod was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and she is greedy
