To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Luthra. After a long history of fighting, Luthra and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Vola was born the youngest of three triplets. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by her family

Personality: Thorin is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
