History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Kallista was born on a far eastern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Barber. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Valanthe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Valanthe. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
