History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has a very tight haircut. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Althaea fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. A true patriot, Cloak would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the north were limited. After a long history of fighting, Cloak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Born in the south to a Bookbinder, Ilde learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ilde grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ilde. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
