She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her red hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. Her brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Valanthe abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has worked as a Soapmaker like her mother before her.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
