History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She has done her best to style her red hair to look like a famous performer. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

History: Born in the south to a Mayor, Verin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered brigands who tried to eat her hand. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mayor.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nithther fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and retire the richest man in the west
