History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
