History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Carter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and wants to raise her children well

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Valida was taken on many hunting expeditions. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
