History: Ilanis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She found a children's book about a Elf Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
