Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Shifting reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sarah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Born to a Cook, his father struggled to pay the bills. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Jane was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: Pelt was born with his father's beautiful face. He worked as a nervous Locksmith and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
