History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Shava lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Map Maker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
