History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Charles managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: She got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. River was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Fortune-teller. She has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
