He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
