History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Banker for the past few years.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and balancing his hectic life and new banker responsibilities is difficult

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Detective, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.
