History: Shadow lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. A friendly and beautiful Dwarf, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, tan shirt, and black tie. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her broad white hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shaena embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shaena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shaena. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
