Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Tree hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with green lining and desert motifs, and he perpetually has his kukri ready. He has dark red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Valafar will drive conversation. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Valafar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shepherd work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shepherd work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tattered old clothes. He has no hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.
