Personality: Flask wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in greatsword use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want her driven away

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety
