History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To protect her home; and she wants revenge against gnolls
