History: Althaea hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Althaea was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Stylist. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has never given up on her writing dream.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
