History: Tawar was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Borun was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Oriff was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Oriff's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Tordek and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Donella took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
