History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she's looking for her big break
