History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Silaqui was born the youngest of three triplets. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and she is greedy

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
