Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is greedy

Personality: She is fixated on the number 29. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Rinn was born with her father's beautiful face. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Theriatis's homeland. Theriatis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Theriatis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
