Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a whip on his belt. He wears his red hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to unite with his brother

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Riswynn hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered giants who tried to eat her hand. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and balancing her hectic life and new bookbinder responsibilities is difficult

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She keeps her blonde hair in a flapper bob. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Isabella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants to work out more often

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her hair is golden and very short. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Courier kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing a long, grey cloak, and is pretty ugly. His white hair is long and unkept. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to be a spice merchant again
