History: Birel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and sabotage a competitor

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is a Mayor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and balancing his hectic life and new mayor responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Sweet is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sweet was born the youngest of three triplets. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
