History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Aura never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Loopmottin grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born in the north to a Butcher, Akmen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and money/treasure

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Marshal born in the past three hundred years. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Butcher, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has achieved small success as a Marshal.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
