History: Bork hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bork was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
