Baern decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Body Guard who has hired her part-time. The war was a terrible time for her, and Heather does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Heather lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
