Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Xanaphia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. After coming to the age of reason, Heian took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and to be a marshal again
