History: He comes from a rich southern family. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Anselm was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Anselm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
