History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Cask was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Murook was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
