To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Syllin. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
