Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Herbalist business.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and balancing his hectic life and new shepherd responsibilities is difficult

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
